Located in the heart of Santa Monica, California, lmnl studios houses 27 state-of-the-art spaces from 50 to 1000 square feet. Our facility is ADA-compliant, flexible, and well-appointed, with everything needed for the business of sound.

lmnl (pronounced liminal) is about endless creative possibilities. We offer world-class studio spaces for musicians, podcasters, and sound pros, with top-notch engineers and an extensive collection of equipment. Our open-ended creative spaces were dreamed up by our founder Troy Zeigler. After years of recording in studios worldwide, Troy set out to find a property where he could offer all the amenities he likes as a musician within the flexible recording and creative spaces.

Our powerhouse space, Studio A, features 1100 square feet, including a control room, live room, four isolation rooms, lounge, and bathroom, all within a top-quality build-out with gear and house engineers. Private lounge and Bathroom. Access to kitchen and outdoor spaces.
